The City of Oxford Orchestra celebrates 60 years to the day since it was founded

The City of Oxford Orchestra was founded in 1965 with a firm commitment to provide live, classical music of the highest quality to the widest possible audience. The Orchestra has played to acclaim in most of the capital cities of Europe whilst also providing all-year-round concerts in Oxford's beautiful, historical buildings, in particular, Sir Christopher Wren's stunning Sheldonian Theatre.
With conductor Stephen Bell and pianist Tom Poster, the Diamond Jubilee Concert will be the orchestra's final concert, taking place 60 years to the day since it was founded.

Rachmaninov - Piano Concerto No. 2
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 5
